Hollywood Confidential was made for BBC Four and became one of the channel’s first critical hits. I produced and directed the film in New York and Los Angeles, also shooting 16mm B-roll.
Contributors included Mamie Van Doren, Jeanne Carmen, columnist Burt Boyar, The Bad and the Beautiful author Sam Kashner and MSNBC.com gossip columnist Jeannette Walls.
The film also featured one of Kenneth Anger’s last interviews.
